About the Videos
The 3D sensor by ifm efector permits us to image and analyze a large 3D volume and report X,Y, and Z position data related to the given objects in the scene. The colors illustrated in the short video clips, represent 12-bit distances relative to the image formation system. By analyzing the 12-bit 3D point cloud data, Integro can extract dimension data of interest and transmit to robotic and/or data collection systems. A short list of applications include parcel dimensional estimation, vision guided robotics, tire dimensional ID, tire pick-n-place, palletization systems, safety area monitoring. New 3D vision applications are being discovered each day utilizing this measurement technology.
